About Me

Education:
B.S. Astrophysics and Mathetmatics @ University of Oklahoma
Masters of Physics @ University of Connecticut
(in progress) PhD @ University of Connecticut

Research Interests: I am interested in supermassive black hole (SMBH) properties and SMBH binary systems. Looking to work on the relationship between electromagnetic observations of gravitational wave producing systems.

Publications: None so far!

Research

A New Multiwavelength Approach to Measuring Supermassive Black Hole Spin
I am utilizing UV and Optical data from SWIFT to fit QSOSED SED models to AGN data to measure spin.

NANOGrav 15 year targeted search for continuous gravitational waves
Using the NANOGrav 15 year data along with enterprise MCMC and QuickCW codes to search for detections of continuous nHz gravitational waves (GWs) from SMBH binaries and place upper limits on GW frequency and mass on potential sources for non-detections.
